Tokyo mew mew a la mode is my third favorite anime and tokyo mew mew is my fourth. they are almost the same. Tokyo mew mew starts out w/ the main character Ichigo Momomiya. She finds out that she is destined to become a mew mew. A mew mew is a person who has been fused w/ DNA from an indangered animal species. Ichigo has been infused w/ the Iriomote wildcat. Ichigo is told all of these things by Ryou Shirugane who was the one who discovered the mew mew's. He also tells Ichigo that she must find the other 4 mew's to join the team and stop the aliens from terizing earth. The Other mew mews are Mint Aizawa who is infused w/ the blue lorikeet, Lettuce Midorikawa who is infused w/ the finless porpoise, Pudding Fong who is infuse w/ the Golden Lion Tamarin and Zakuro Fujiwara who is infused w/ the Gray wolf. In Tokyo mew mew a la mode, a new mew mew is introduced. Her name is Berry Shirayuki. she was actually infused on accident when she crashed into one of Ryou's experiments. she is infused w/ two animals, the Andean Mountain cat and the amami black rabbit. Together the 6 fight evil as Tokyo mew mew.
